✅ Lesson 1 – Nouns (Sustantivos)
What is a noun?
A person, place, thing, or idea.
Examples:
Person: teacher → maestro/a
Place: school → escuela
Thing: phone → teléfono
Idea: hope → esperanza
Two types:
Common noun → boy, school, book
Proper noun → Mario, San Juan, Sony
✅ Lesson 2 – Verbs (Verbos)
What is a verb?
An action or a state.
Examples:
run → correr
eat → comer
have → tener
like → gustar
In English, verbs only change with he/she/it:
I play, you play, he plays
✅ Lesson 3 – Subject-Verb Agreement
In the present tense, verbs must match the subject:
I work
She works
They study
He studies
🧠 Rule: Add -s to verbs with he/she/it
✅ Lesson 4 – Adjectives (Adjetivos)
What is an adjective?
A word that describes a noun.
Examples:
big → grande
happy → feliz
cold → frío/a
beautiful → bonito/a
In English, adjectives go before the noun:
a small cat → un gato pequeño
✅ Lesson 5 – Articles (A, An, The)
a / an = un / una (general)
a dog, an apple
the = el / la / los / las (specific)
the car, the books
Use a before consonants → a pencil
Use an before vowels → an orange
✅ Lesson 6 – Prepositions (Preposiciones)
Show location, direction, or time
Examples of place:
in → en
on → sobre
under → debajo
next to → al lado de
behind → detrás
between → entre
Examples of time:
at 8 a.m.
on Monday
in July
✅ Lesson 7 – Pronouns (Pronombres personales)
Replace nouns
I → yo
You → tú / usted
He → él
She → ella
It → eso (cosa/animal)
We → nosotros/as
They → ellos/as
Example:
Luis is tired → He is tired
✅ Lesson 8 – Simple Present vs. Present Continuous
Simple Present – habits, routines
I eat breakfast at 7 → Yo como a las 7
Present Continuous – actions happening now
I am eating breakfast now → Estoy comiendo ahora
🧠 Watch for time clues:
every day, always → simple present
right now, at the moment → present continuous
✅ Lesson 9 – Question Words
Ask for information:
Who → ¿Quién?
What → ¿Qué?
Where → ¿Dónde?
When → ¿Cuándo?
Why → ¿Por qué?
How → ¿Cómo?
Which → ¿Cuál?
Examples:
Where do you live? → ¿Dónde vives?
What do you do? → ¿Qué haces?
✅ Lesson 10 – Verbs in Past, Present, and Future
Regular Verbs:
walk → walked → will walk
play → played → will play
Irregular Verbs:
go → went → will go
eat → ate → will eat
have → had → will have

Present: I play
Past: I played / I went
Future: I will play / I will go
